WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross field hockey sophomore
Mia McCloskey was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, as voted on by the Patriot League coaches and announced by the league offices Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday, McCloskey made six saves against Dartmouth, before recording her second shutout of the season and third of her career on Saturday against Lehigh. McCloskey recorded seven stops in the Crusaders' first Patriot League win of the season.
McCloskey leads the Patriot League with 7.46 saves per game and 97 total saves, while her 2.58 goals-against average sits fourth, and her .746 save percentage sits third.

Holy Cross (5-8, 1-3Â PL) will return home to the Hart Turf Field on Friday, Oct. 24 when they welcome Colgate at 3 p.m. for their Alumni Night, Cousy Cup, and Purple Forever game.
