WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross field hockey team will take on two opponents this weekend, LIU Brooklyn on Friday at home and Dartmouth on Sunday on the road.
The Crusaders will be looking to earn their first victory of the season after a hard-fought defensive battle in their home-opening 1-0 loss to Columbia. Head coach Lindsay Jackson and the squad are undeterred and remain determined heading into these two matchups.
“We are excited for this weekend," Jackson said. "We are ready to get back into action and to be home again on Friday night. We are focused on making some small adjustments and creating a stronger attacking effort. With LIU Brooklyn being such a young program we need to be prepared for anything and everything. Dartmouth has been off to a strong start so we need to bring our best effort."
