Lissner Selected as NEWHA Player of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior forward Emily Lissner was selected as the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Player of the Week for play from Jan. 14-20.

Lissner recorded her second hat trick of the season in a 10-0 victory over Saint Michael's. The senior forward also had two goals the next day in a 6-0 win over the Purple Knights. Lissner has scored or assisted in four of her last five games and leads the team with 12 goals on the season, which is a career high. 

The NEWHA is comprised of six Division I/II independent women's hockey schools: Holy Cross, Post, St. Michael's. Saint Anselm, Franklin Pierce and Sacred Heart. The Crusaders will compete within the NEWHA for the 2017-18 season until the team transistions to Hockey East next year.
