The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team returns to action when it heads to Delaware for a pair of games on Oct. 4 and 5. The Crusaders and the Blue Hens will face off at 2 p.m. each day, with both games being shown live on FloSports.
Holy Cross is off to a 2-0-0 start on the season. Last weekend, the Crusaders defeated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute twice (2-1 and 3-0). Senior forward

Lulu Rourke are tied for the team lead in scoring, each posting two points on one goal and one assist. Senior goaltender
Abby Hornung and senior goaltender
Brooke Loranger have split time in net, combing for an 0.50 goals against average and a .971 save percentage. The Crusaders are coming off a 2024-2025 campaign in which they went 10-20-4 overall and 6-17-4 in Hockey East.
Delaware stands 0-2-0 so far this year, dropping a pair of games to Long Island (4-1 and 5-2). Freshman forward Francesca Barresi, senior forward Kaitlin Finnegan and freshman forward Billi Roman have scored goals for the Blue Hens. In net, freshman Charlotte Payne (3.07 goals against average) and junior Mattie Robitzer (3.08 goals against average) have both seen action. Delaware is in its first season as a varsity program.
After the series with the Blue Hens, Holy Cross will travel to Boston College for its Hockey East opener on Friday, Oct. 10.
