HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Less than four minutes later, the Blue Hens' Meera Smith tied the game at 1-1 just after a power play ended.
• Delaware then took a 2-1 lead later in the second on a power play goal by Katelynn Charlton.
• The Crusaders had several good scoring chances the rest of the way, but were unable to convert as the Blue Hens held on for the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Holy Cross finished the night with a 50-11 advantage in shots on goal.
• Sonntag is now tied for the team-lead with her two goals scored this season.
