KOOLMAN'S KORNER:
- "We battled and competed tonight versus a very good team," said Holy Cross head coach Marco Koolman. "It was a positive that we scored to tie the game after trailing 1-0 as it shows that our team is working hard. But the difference in the game were the chances we gave them that they took advantage of and we have to work on limiting those opportunities."

- The Friars outshot the Crusaders, 11-7, while Providence had six shots on goal and Holy Cross posted four.
