The Lead: The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field team opened up action at the 2015 IC4A Indoor Championship yesterday at Boston University. The Crusaders broke two school records on the day coming from senior co-captain Mike Galasso (Danvers, Mass.) and junior Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.) in the 500 and 800-meter runs. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Three Holy Cross runners, including Galasso, Keefer and junior Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) advanced to the finals in their respective events. 
• Galasso kicked things off for the Crusaders as he broke the 500-meter run record, previously set by Keefer, with a time of 1:03.87 and a sixth place finish. 
• Setting a new Holy Cross record in the 800-meter run was Keefer, who ran a career-best time of 1:51.18 and placed fifth. 
•  In the 1,000-meter run, Tejidor ran a personal-best time of 2:25.98 and crossed the finish line in fifth. 
• Senior co-captain Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) and sophomore Michael Andre (Feeding Hills, Mass.) followed Keefer in the 800-meter. Dutton finished 16th with a time of 1:53.02 while Andre placed 25th at 1:54.46.

• The Crusaders will continue action at the 2015 IC4A and ECAC Indoor Championship tomorrow, Mar. 8, at 9:30 a.m.
