The Lead: The 200-medley relay team comprised of senior captains Thomas Horigan (West Hartford, Conn.) and Jack Swain (West Hartford, Conn.), junior Tyler Wright (Waterboro, Maine) and freshman Jake Sbarbaro (Lakewood, Colo.) set a new Holy Cross record on the opening day of the 2015 Patriot League Championship on Wednesday night.

• The men's team competed in three events on the opening day of the 2015 Patriot League Championship including the 200-medley and 800-freestly relay and 3-meter dive.
• In the 200-medley relay, the team comprised of Horigan, Swain, Wright and Sbarbaro set a new school record with a time of 1:35.31, surpassing the record set at last season's PL Championship.
• The 800-freestyle relay team made up of Sbarbaro, freshman Hayden Kucharski (Bloomfield, N.J.) junior David Mullany (Monroe, Conn.) and Wright placed 10th, registering a time of 7:05.06.
• In the 3-meter dive, freshman Jimmy Nugent (Woodbridge, Conn.) had the top Crusader finish, diving to a 19th place finish with a score of 169.70 with senior co-captain Brendan Higgins (Summit, N.J.) following in 20th with 161.50 points and junior Rob Chevalier (Southbridge, Mass.) taking 23rd with a score of 122.80.
