Holy Cross Athletics

• A 360 Leader in the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.

2014-2015:

• Competed in 11 individual events including the 100, 200, 400, 500, 800, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 100 individual medley and 100 butterfly
• Also competed on the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle and the 200 and 400 medley relay teams
• Posted a career-best time in the 500 freestyle (4:47.86) at the Patriot League Championship
• Member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy and Student Athlete Advisory Committee
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

2013-2014: 

• Competed in four individual events including the 200, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle
• Member of the 200 and 400 medley relay and the 200,400 and 800 freestyle relay teams
• At the Patriot League Championship, he led Holy Cross in the 500 freestyle with career-fastest time (4:48.81), set school record in 1,650 freestyle (16:31.08), became the first Crusaders to swim the 1,000 freestyle in under ten minutes (9:54.52)
• Was also a member of the 400 medley relay team who set new Holy Cross record (3:30.34) and member of the 400 freestyle relay team who set Holy Cross record (3:11.54) at the Patriot League Championship
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2012-2013:

• Competed in 10 individual events including the 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, and 1,650 freestyles; 100 backstroke; 100 breaststroke; 100 butterfly; and 100 individual medley
• Posted season-best times in the 100 back (1:03.07), 100 breast (1:11.20), 100 fly (1:02.62) and 100 IM (1:01.83) versus Assumption; 1,000 free (10:31.52) against Springfield; 100 free (51.63) at the Worcester City Championship; and 50 free (23.42), 200 free (1:48.14), 500 free (4:57.18) and 1,650 free (16:43.47) at the Patriot League Championship
• Member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.

Before Holy Cross:

• Three year member of the Fairfield Prep varsity swim team under coach Bruce Jaffe
• Named team captain senior year
• Team was 2008-2012 SCC Champions
• Member of the Shelton-Monroe Club Swim Team under coach Chuck Clark
• Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:

• Son of David and Nancy Mullany
• Has one sister (Jillian) who swims at Providence College.
• Majoring in Political Science.
