WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Jenna Gasparrini has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 28-November 3. Gasparrini helped lead the Holy Cross women's cross country team to a sixth place finish at the Patriot League Championship on Saturday.

During the Patriot League Championship, Gasparrini finished in second place overall with a time of 21:57.2 on the six-kilometer course. Her second-place finish earned her first team All-Patriot League honors for the second straight season. Gasparrini also finished second at the Patriot League Championship in 2018.

On the season, Gasparrini has posted the fastest time on the team in five of the six races she has run.

The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Nov. 15, when they take part in the NCAA Northeast Regional in Amherst, N.Y.
