WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Emily Sullivan has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 21-27. Sullivan led the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team to a first place finish at the Worcester City Championship last weekend.
 
At the Worcester City Championship, Sullivan finished in first place in three individual events: the 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.07), 200-yard individual medley (2:11.22) and 400-yard individual medley (4:34.43). She was named the female swimmer of the meet, and broke a pool record in the 400-yard individual medley which had stood since 1987.
 
Overall this season, Sullivan now has the fastest times on the team in the 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard individual medley and 400-yard individual medley.
 
The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Nov. 1, when they play host to Fairfield at 4:00 p.m.
