Senior forward Abby Cushing has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from August 17-23. Cushing scored her first goal of the 2026 season on Wednesday, Aug. 19 vs Stonehill, helping the Crusaders to their first win of the year.

Cushing received a feed from fifth-year midfielder Sam Halligan in the 10th minute of Wednesday’s contest before beating a defender and burying a shot into the top-right corner of the goal. Cushing has appeared in all four games for Holy Cross this season, making three starts.

The Crusaders head on the road, taking on Marist on Thursday Aug. 27 at 8:00 p.m.
