Senior captain and forward Meg Cahalan of the Holy Cross women’s basketball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition during the week of Nov. 24-30.

Cahalan averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists across two games on the week. She scored 15 points on Tuesday versus UMass and then filled the stat sheet with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in Sunday’s commanding 64-45 victory over UNH.

On the season, Cahalan has reached the 20-point plateau three times and has scored in double figures in all six games she has played in.

The women’s basketball team returns to action on Wednesday night at Harvard with opening tip slated for 7 p.m.
