Senior midfielder Allie Waters of the Holy Cross women’s soccer team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Aug. 19 – 25. 

Waters played and started in both games on the week against Providence and UMass-Lowell. She scored her first collegiate goal, the game-winner, and led the Crusaders to a 1-0 home opening win over UMass-Lowell on Sunday, Aug. 25. Waters picked off a pass deep in Riverhawk territory, made a quick move around the goalie, and buried the ball into the back of the net just 40 seconds into the second half. This marks Holy Cross’s first home-opening win since 2020.

Holy Cross women's soccer (1-3, 0-0) returns to action Thursday, Aug. 29 when they head to Kingston, R.I. to take on Rhode Island (1-2, 0-0) at 7:00 p.m.
