Freshman Anna Brait of the Holy Cross softball team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for April 24-April 30.
Brait hit .545 (6-for-11) with a .615 on-base percentage and a .818 slugging percentage for a 1.433 OPS across four games last week. She recorded four RBI, three doubles, two walks for the Crusaders.
In the win against Dartmouth, Brait was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. In game two Saturday versus Lehigh, Brait extended her reached base streak to 13 games going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. It was her third three hit effort this season.
Brait paces the Crusaders in several offensive categories such as batting average (.355), on base percentage (.440), slugging percentage (.480), OPS (.920), hits (54), RBI (29), walks (22) and is tied for the team lead in home runs (3) and total bases (73).
The Crusaders end their season on Wednesday, May 3 at 4 p.m. versus Bryant.Â
