Senior Maura Doherty of the Holy Cross women's track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Apr. 1 – 7.

On Sunday, Apr. 7, Doherty competed at the UMass Flagship Spring Opener in Amherst, Mass. She took first place in the 3000m steeplechase earning a personal best  and her first collegiate win with a time of 11:34.29 in the event.

The Holy Cross track and field teams will return to action this weekend for the UConn Northeast Challenge in Storrs, Conn. The meet will be held from Friday, Apr. 12 to Saturday, Apr. 13.
