Senior Janelle Allen of the Holy Cross women’s basketball team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Nov. 13-Nov. 19.

Allen averaged 18.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks while hitting 61.5 percent of her field goal attempts in two games last week earning Patriot League Honorable Mention honors.

The tri-captain matched a career-high with 20 points and a personal-best 10 rebounds recording a steal and a block all while shooting 57.1 percent in her third career double-double effort during a victory against UMass-Lowell last Monday.

Allen paces the Crusaders in scoring (13.8), field goal percentage (56.1 percent) and is third in rebounding (7.3) through four games this season.

The Crusaders (2-2) play on the road at Villanova on Tuesday, Nov. 21 with tip-off set for 7 p.m.
