WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore midfielder Jolie Creo has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from Feb. 3-9. Creo led the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team to a victory at Fairfield in its season opener on Saturday.  

During the 10-8 win over the Stags, Creo totaled five points on four goals and one assist. Her third goal of the game gave the Crusaders the lead for good (7-6) early in the second half, then her fourth goal put Holy Cross up 9-6 with 15:28 remaining. Creo also finished the game with three draw controls and one groundball.

Over the course of her collegiate career, Creo has now totaled 31 goals and 12 assists for 43 points in 17 games played.

The Crusaders (1-0 overall) return to action on Sunday, Feb. 16, when they play host to UMass Lowell at 1:05 p.m.
