Junior Bronagh Power-Cassidy of the Holy Cross women’s basketball team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for December 5-December 11.

Power-Cassidy helped the Crusaders to a 2-0 week and their fifth straight victory. She averaged 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game shooting 50.0% (11-of-22) from the hardwood. She was one of five players in double-figures in the comeback victory against Stonehill dropping a game-high 17 points on 8-of-13 (61.5%) shooting. Power-Cassidy produced nine of her 17 markers in the fourth quarter.

On the season, Power-Cassidy paces the Crusaders in scoring with 12.4 points per game while averaging 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest on 43.2% field goal efficiency. Holy Cross is 6-0 when Power-Cassidy reaches double digit points.

The Crusaders (8-2) conclude their nonconference slate on Tuesday, Dec. 20 when they take on Vermont at 10:30 a.m. in the Hart Center.
