Senior Alex Peterson of the Holy Cross men’s ice hockey team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for November 21-November 27.

Peterson played in all games for the Crusaders this past week recording a goal, two assists for three points, two blocked shots, and going 32-27 (54.2%) in face-offs.

Peterson scored the lone Crusader goal at #13 Merrimack on Tuesday. At Brown on Friday, Peterson won 71.4% of his face-off chances and in the 3-2 comeback against New Hampshire, Peterson assisted on the game-tying and game-winning score while recording a +2 when he was on the ice.

On the year, Peterson has two goals, two assists for four points, has 15 blocked shots and has 141 face-off wins which ranks seventh in the Atlantic Hockey Association.

The Crusaders (3-12-1, 2-7-1 AHA) return to conference play this weekend for an away series at Air Force starting Friday, Dec 2. At 9 p.m.
