WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior forward Lauren Manis has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from December 22-29. Manis led the Holy Cross women's basketball team to a 1-1 record in a pair of games last week.

During the 82-61 victory over New Hampshire on Dec. 22, Manis totaled 28 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Then in the 80-60 loss to North Florida on Dec. 28, she posted 20 points and 11 boards. Over the course of the two games, she averaged 24.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest.

On the season, Manis leads the team with averages of 19.2 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. Over the course of her Holy Cross career, she has now totaled 1,672 points, 973 rebounds, 179 assists, 128 steals and 109 blocked shots.

The Crusaders (7-4 overall) return to action on Thursday, Jan. 2, when they open Patriot League play at Loyola (Md.).
