WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head women's ice hockey coach
Katie Lachapelle has announced her team's 2026-2027 schedule, which is slated to begin on Sept. 25. The Crusaders are set to play 33 regular season games this year, including 24 contests against Hockey East foes.
The season begins with two home games against Delaware (Sept. 25-26), followed by home contests against Assumption (Oct. 1), Boston College (Oct. 9) and Boston University (Oct. 10). Holy Cross next plays a home-and-home series with Harvard (Oct. 16-17), a two-game set at Dartmouth (Oct. 23-24) and home-and-home series with Connecticut (Oct. 29-30) and Merrimack (Nov. 6-7). The Crusaders then play two road games at Maine (Nov. 13-14), a home-and-home series with New Hampshire (Nov. 19-20) and two contests at St. Thomas (Nov. 27-28). Holy Cross will close out the first semester with a two-game home set against Vermont (Dec. 4-5).
The Crusaders return to action with road games at Boston College (Jan. 8) and Boston University (Jan. 15). Holy Cross will next play home-and-home series with Providence (Jan. 22-23) and Northeastern (Jan. 29-30). The Crusaders will then travel to Vermont (Feb. 4), before playing host to Northeastern (Feb. 6), Maine (Feb. 12) and Connecticut (Feb. 13). The regular season concludes on the road against New Hampshire (Feb. 18) and Boston College (Feb. 19).
The 2027 Hockey East Tournament begins with the first round on Feb. 24, followed by the quarterfinals on Feb. 27, the semifinal round on March 2 and the championship game on March 6.
The Crusaders are coming off a 2025-2026 campaign in which they went 19-13-1 overall, placed fourth in Hockey East with a program-record 37 points, and became the first women's team in school history to earn a national ranking at the Division I level.
