WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women's ice hockey alum Charlotte Sonntag (Class of 2026) has signed a professional contract with Modo Hockey, which plays in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (the elite league for women's ice hockey in Sweden).

Sonntag appeared in all 35 of the Crusaders' games during the 2025-2026 season, ranking sixth on the team in scoring with 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points. Over the course of her four years with the Crusaders, she totaled 39 points on 21 goals and 18 assists. Sonntag recorded the third-most career goals scored of any Holy Cross player in the Hockey East era, while standing seventh for points and ninth for assists.
