WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women's ice hockey alum Michela Lio (Class of 2025) has signed a professional contract with ERC Ingolstadt, which plays in the Deutsche Fraueneishockey-Liga (the top-tier women's ice hockey league in Germany).

Lio appeared in 116 career games for the Crusaders from 2021-2025. She totaled six points on three goals and three assists, in addition to blocking 38 shots and winning 42 faceoffs. Lio was a four-time selection to the Hockey East All-Academic Team, and received the team's Strength & Conditioning Award during her sophomore year.
