Kulis claims second medal on day two of Patriot League Championships

BOSTON- Senior Celia Kuilis captured the bronze medal in the women's 60m hurdles on the final day of the Patriot League Championships, marking her second medal of the weekend. Yesterday, Kulis was awarded the bronze after tallying 3,526 points in the pentathlon. The women's track and field team finished the meet in sixth place out of ten teams with 34 total points.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Freshman Frankie Spagna and sophomore Victoria McGowan both had personal best marks to secure top-10 finishes in the triple jump. Spagna placed ninth after jumping 11.43m. McGowan finished 10th with a mark of 11.30m.
Sophomore Abby Desmarais placed seventh in the 60m dash final with a time of 7.76.
Desmarais helped junior Angelina Lancey, sophomore Danielle DiEsso, and freshman Eliza Martin to a sixth place finish in the 4x400m with a season best time of 3:48.96.
Junior Siena Brunetti finished eighth in the 3,000m with a personal best time of 9:46.15.
Seniors Alex Lusby and Abby Granrath along with sophomore Aluna Coogan-Coyne, and freshman Macie Salado placed fifth overall in the DMR with a combined time of 11:49.45.

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders will be back in Boston later this week for the 2026 New England Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center. Competition begins on Friday, Mar. 6 and concludes, Saturday, Mar. 7.
