AS A FRESHMAN IN 2025 OUTDOOR: 

• Competed in seven meets for Holy Cross during her first season in the program
• Ran the 100 & 200 meters; tallied three first-place finishes
• Notched a total of six top-five finishes
• Finished fifth in both events at the Patriot League Championships (May 2-3) with personal-best times of 11.89 in the 100 and 24.46 in the 200
• Won the 100 meters and was a member of first place 4x100 & 4x400 relay teams at the UMass Lafreniere Commonwealth Invitational (Apr. 12)

• Competed in the 60, 200 and 400 meters across eight different meets
• Posted seven top-five finishes
• Finished third in the 60 meters and seventh in the 200 at the Patriot League Championships (Mar. 1-2) including a personal-best time in the 60 of 7.54 seconds
• Registered a personal-best time of 56.91 seconds in the 400 meters at the Showdown at the Heights (Feb. 7-8)
• Placed second in the 60 and sixth in the 200 at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 14-15)

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Seven-season member of the track and field team at Framingham in Framingham, Mass. under head coach Chris Collins
• Served as a two-year track and field team captain
• 2024 MIAA Division 1 Indoor State Meet Team Runner Up
• 2024 MIAA Division 1 Indoor State Meet MVP
• 2022 Outstanding Female Athlete of the Meet at Lou Tozzi Freshman-Sophomore Outdoor Meet
• Eight-time MIAA Division 1 State Champion
• Four-time Meet of Champions Champion
• Four-time Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection
• Four-time MetroWest Daily News All-Star
• Set the Framingham school record in: 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 55m, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, SMR and Swedish relay
• Career PRs: 100m (12.04), 200m (24.64), 300m (39.61), 400m (57.08), 400H (63.00) and 55m (7.03)
• Outdoor 2024 Senior year PRs: 400m (57.08), 200m (24.64) and 100m (12.04)
• Four-time High Honor Roll selection
• Two-year member of the National Honors Society

PERSONAL: 

• Her mom, Christine VanSlyke, played soccer, basketball and softball at Russell Sage College (Class of ‘96)
• Her dad, Kevin, played soccer at Tufts University (Class of ‘95)
• Plans to major in economics or accounting
• Chose Holy Cross because it is her dream school. She loves the beautiful campus, the balance between academics and athletics, the alumni support system and the tight-knit campus community
