ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Both the 200-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay teams broke all-time program records, as the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving squad competed in day one of the Patriot League Championship at Lejeune Hall. Through three events, the Crusaders stand in sixth place as a team with 126 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The 200-yard medley relay team of senior
Jack Greiner, senior
Zach Bubonovich, freshman
Andrew Villani and junior
Will Clark finished in sixth place with a school-record time of 1:29.16.
• In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the team of sophomore
Peter Mottolese, freshman
Anderson Bishop, junior
Austin Cutcher and Greiner took seventh place with a school-record time of 6:38.57.
• In the three-meter diving, sophomore
Griffin Casey and junior
Luke Parada both advanced to the B final, with Casey placing 10th (271.60) and Parada coming in 14th (260.95).
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will continue competition in the Patriot League Championship on Thursday, Feb. 18.
