Holy Cross Athletics

• School record holder in the 50-yard butterfly (22.57) and the 100-yard butterfly (49.10), while ranking second in the 50-yard freestyle (20.88) and eighth in the 200-yard butterfly (1:53.89)
• Part of school record setting teams in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:21.27), the 200-yard medley relay (1:29.16) and the 400-yard medley relay (3:17.02)
• Also a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that owns the Hart Center pool record (1:32.70)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2025-2026:
• Honored as the team’s Rookie of the Year 
• Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
• Placed 18th in the 100-yard butterfly at the Patriot League Championship in a school-record time of 49.10, in addition to finishing 24th in the 50-yard freestyle (20.88)
• Part of school record-setting teams in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:21.27), the 200-yard medley relay (1:29.16) and the 400-yard medley relay (3:17.02) at the Patriot League Championship
• Broke the school record in the 50-yard butterfly at the Worcester City Championship (22.57)
• Came in first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.91 against Boston University
• Placed first in the 100-yard butterfly (49.72) at Iona
• Won 100-yard butterfly (51.70) against Connecticut College, while swimming a leg on the Hart Center pool record setting 200-yard medley relay (1:32.70)

HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB:
• Two-time team captain at Northwest Catholic High School
• Named the 2025 Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Class S Swimmer of the Year
• Earned All-State and All-Conference honors
• An Academic All-Conference selection
• Also competed for WHAT Swimming

• Majoring in Economics
• Brother, Chris Villani, was a member of the Holy Cross men’s swimming and diving team
• Father, Paul Villani, competed in track and field at Middlebury
