Men’s basketball concludes home stand against Colgate on Wednesday

The Holy Cross men's basketball team ends its three game home swing against Patriot League foe Colgate on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. The contest will be broadcast regionally on NESN, streamed through the NESN 360 app and ESPN+ with Kevin Gehl (play-by-play) and Jacob VanRyn (analyst) on the call.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (9-16, 4-8 PL): 
  • Holy Cross ended a six game losing streak rallying from a 10-point deficit to beat Lehigh 76-67 win Saturday afternoon on Bob Cousy '50 Court. Freshman forward Aiden Disu scored a career-high 21 points with nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals en route to Winter Homecoming Most Outstanding Player honors. Junior guard/forward Gabe Warren scored 20 points setting a single-game career-high in free throw conversions (nine) and free throw percentage (90.0).
  • Sophomore guard Tyler Boston was named Patriot League Honorable Mention Monday for the fourth time this season. Boston averaged 15.0 points on 57.9 percent (11-of-19) shooting from the field, including 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from three-point range adding 4.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. 
  • Over his last eight games, Disu is averaging 11.8 points and a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game on 44.2 percent (34-for-77) shooting. Disu is 25-for-27 (92.6 percent) from the line over that stretch and ranks sixth during Patriot League games in free throw percentage (85.7 percent).
  • Junior guard DeAndre Williams has been on a roll from deep recently going 15-for-28 (53.6 percent) from distance over his last eight games. Across 12 conference games, Williams ranks third in the Patriot League in three-point percentage (45.7 percent).
  • Holy Cross is the eighth ranked Patriot League team in the 2026 Pomeroy College Basketball Ratings (326th). They rank 309th (100.8) in offensive rating and 317th (116.2) in defensive rating.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS (15-10, 9-3 PL): 
  • Colgate has won four of their last five games including a 78-59 win against Bucknell on Saturday. Four players scored double figure points including Jalen Cox who double-doubled with 14 points, a game-high 12 rebounds with six assists and a pair of steals.
  • Andrew Alekseyenko, a five-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week was named Patriot League Honorable Mention on Monday. He averaged 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Raiders.
  • As a team, Colgate ranks 32nd in the NCAA and tops in the Patriot League in field goal percentage (48.6 percent) 
  • The Raiders are the second ranked Patriot League team in the 2026 Pomeroy College Basketball Ratings (205th). They rank 178th (107.8) in offensive rating and 220th (110.8) in defensive rating.
LAST TIME THEY MET: 
  • Holy Cross is 60-43 (.583) in the series history against Colgate which began back in 1947. The Raiders have won 21 straight meetings against the Crusaders.
  • The Crusaders are 25-16 (.610) against the Raiders in the Hart Center Arena.
  • In their last meeting on Jan. 28, Colgate came from behind using an 11-0 run late for a 79-74 win. Tyler Boston scored 20 points with five assists and four rebounds.
