The 13th-ranked Holy Cross women's ice hockey team will be back in action with a home-and-home series against No. 6 Northeastern on Jan. 29 and 31. Thursday's game will take place at Walter Brown Arena in Boston at 7 p.m. Saturday's meeting will be played in Worcester at 6 p.m., and will be the Crusaders' Alumnae Day and Pink the Pink game. Both contests will be shown on ESPN+.
Holy Cross owns an overall record of 18-7-1 with a 10-6-1 mark in Hockey East play. The Crusaders are on a four-game winning streak, and have set a school single-season record with their 10 Hockey East victories. Freshman forward
Violet Carroll currently leads the team in scoring with 22 points on eight goals and 14 assists. Senior forward
Alexia Moreau has added 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points, while senior forward
Lane Lewis has 15 points on four goals and 11 assists. In net, senior goaltender
Abby Hornung stands 11-5-1 this season with a 1.42 goals against average and a .945 save percentage.
Northeastern enters the week with an overall record of 20-6-0 and a 15-1-0 mark in Hockey East. The Huskies are on a four-game winning streak, and have won six straight against conference foes. Senior forward Lily Shannon leads the team in scoring with 16 goals and 19 assists for 35 points, while freshman forward Stryker Zablocki has 30 points on 13 goals and 17 assists. Sophomore goaltender Lisa Jönsson owns a 15-4-0 record with a 1.73 goals against average and a .932 save percentage.
After the series with Northeastern, Holy Cross will play a pair of home games against Boston College (Feb. 6) and New Hampshire (Feb. 7).
