WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Racheli Levy-Smith, a member of the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team, has been selected to the 2026 preseason All-Patriot League team, in voting by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors. In addition, the Crusaders were picked to finish in fourth place in the 2026 Patriot League preseason poll. 

Levy-Smith, who has earned All-Patriot League honors in each of the past two years, started all 18 of Holy Cross' games on defense last season. She broke the school single-season record with 171 draw controls, in addition to recording a team-high 37 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers. Levy-Smith finished the year ranked fourth in the Patriot League with an average of 9.50 draw controls per game. In her career as a Crusader, she has totaled a school-record 284 draw controls, 70 ground balls and 47 caused turnovers

The Crusaders are coming off a 2025 season in which they posted an overall record of 10-8, and placed fourth in the Patriot League with a 5-4 mark in conference play. Holy Cross is scheduled to open the 2026 campaign when it travels to Massachusetts on Feb. 7.
