WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross volleyball team has released its 2025 schedule, as announced by head coach Matthew Cribbin. The Crusaders will play 32 matches, including two tournaments while hosting 12 contests at home.
Holy Cross starts the new season on the road in the Granite State taking on 2025 America East Champion New Hampshire (Aug. 29), Northeastern (Aug. 30) and Saint Peter's (Aug. 30) in the Holly Young Invitational. Â
The Crusaders will travel to Eria, Pa. to face Mercyhurst twice (Sept. 5 & 6), and Saint Peter's (Sept. 6). They will then take a trek down Route 146 to battle Bryant (Sept. 10).
Before Patriot League action begins, Holy Cross will compete in the 20th Annual Friar Volleyball Classic to duel Merrimack (Sept. 12), Central Connecticut State (Sept. 13) and the host Friars (Sept. 13). The Crusaders home opener will be versus Stonehill on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The Patriot League slate starts with a pair of road contests against Loyola (Md.) (Sept. 19) and Navy (Sept. 20). Holy Cross stays away from campus with a road mid-week game at Iona (Sept. 23).
The team returns to campus for four consecutive home tilts battling league foe Bucknell (Sept. 26), Lehigh (Sept. 27) and Army West Point (Oct. 3) with a mid-week match versus nonconference opponent Le Moyne (Sept. 30) sandwiched in.
Four straight road matches follow at four-time defending Patriot League Champion Colgate (Oct. 5), at nonconference foe Marist (Oct. 7), then back to league action at Lafayette (Oct. 11) and at American (Oct. 12).
Six of the next seven games are on The Hill as the Crusaders host nonconference opponents Siena (Oct. 15) and New Haven (Oct. 21) as well as league opponents American (Oct. 18), Colgate (Oct. 24), Navy (Oct. 31) and Loyola (Md.) (Nov. 1). Their only road tilt during that stretch is at Army West Point (Oct. 26). Â
Two of the final three contests are away at Bucknell (Nov. 7) and at Lehigh (Nov. 8). Holy Cross closes the regular-season with a Senior Day match against Lafayette (Nov. 15).
The Patriot League Tournament starts with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The semifinals will be played on Friday, Nov. 21 before the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 23.
Select games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. A complete fall broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.
