WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior Ginger Berry was named to the 2025 Academic All-Patriot League women's rowing team, the conference office announced on Thursday. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player.
 
Berry was a member of the varsity eight in four spring races this season, helping the boat to a second-place finish at the Jesuit Invitational and a seventh-place finish at the Patriot League Championship. With the second varsity eight, Berry helped the group to a win over UConn, Marist, and Sacred Heart. Off the water, Berry is heavily involved in the Worcester community, earning her a spot as a semifinalist for the Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar of the Year Award.
 
Berry, who joined the team as a sophomore, has competed with the varsity eight in every spring regatta as a junior and senior, and holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.80 as a double major in Spanish and International Studies.
