ANNAPOLIS, Md.— The Holy Cross track and field teams competed in day one of the Patriot League Indoor Championship hosted by Navy from Saturday, Mar. 1 to Sunday, Mar. 2 at the Wesley A. Brown Field House.

WOMEN'S MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Senior Ella Grey broke her own indoor 60m hurdles school record, for the fourth time this season, with a time of 8.54 to advance to finals with the top time. She previously set the record (8.55) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 15, 2025. Junior Celia Kulis followed Grey in second with a time of 8.55  and senior captain Lauren Clark also qualified for the final, placing eighth (8.93).
• Kulis clinched third and the bronze medal in the pentathlon with 3,398 points.
• Freshman Abby Desmarais claimed third in the 60m dash prelim with a qualifying time of 7.55. She also qualified for the final in the 200m dash with a time of 24.92.
• Senior Jane Feeney finished eighth in the long jump with a mark of 5.60m.
• Senior captain Abby Hughes placed ninth in the mile run prelim with a qualifying time of 4:54.48. 
• The 4x800m relay team, including sophomore Annabel Murray, junior Fiona Doherty, senior Helene Cummings and junior captain Alex Lusby, took fifth place with a time of 9:06.85.

MEN'S MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Junior captain Liam Lyons won the mile run prelim to qualify for the final with a time of 4:05.34.
• Senior captain Josh Exantus won the 60m hurdles prelim with a time of 8.15. Freshman Khalil Antoine also qualified for the final with a time of 8.22 to take fourth.
• Sophomore Michael Laflamme finished eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 16.39m.
• The 4x800m relay team, including sophomore Joseph Mahon, freshman Lewis O'Connor, senior Andrew Van De Mark and junior Jack Noble, finished seventh with a time of 7:49.42.
