WORCESTER, Mass. – The 200-yard medley relay team the all-time program record, as the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving squad competed in day one of the Harold Anderson Invitational at the Tootell Aquatic Center. Through two events, the Crusaders stand in second place as a team with 124 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The 200-yard medley relay team of senior
Jack Greiner, senior
Zach Bubonovich, freshman
Andrew Villani and junior
Will Clark finished in first place while tying the school record with their time of 1:29.80. They become the first Holy Cross relay team to ever win an event at the Anderson Invitational.
• In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the team of Greiner, sophomore
Peter Mottolese, freshman
Anderson Bishop and senior
Alex Michael took second place with a time of 6:44.39.
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will continue competition in the Harold Anderson Invitational on Friday, Nov. 21.
• Friday's event include the 500-yard freestyle, the 200-yard individual medley, the 50-yard freestyle, the one-meter diving and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
