Two members of the Holy Cross football team have been selected for Patriot League Player of the Week honors, as announced by the conference on Monday, Oct. 27. 

For the second time this season, senior Max Mosey was named the Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week, while freshman Lincoln Fisher was selected as the league's Rookie of the Week for the first time. 

Mosey broke several tackles for a 47-yard punt return touchdown in Holy Cross' setback against Colgate on Saturday, Oct. 25. This season, Mosey is averaging 18.4 yards per punt return — leading the Patriot League, and more than double any other player in the conference. 

He previously was named the conference Special Teams Player of the Week earlier this season after recording a 72-yard punt return against Harvard. 

Fisher scored two touchdowns on Saturday, on an 11-yard reception and a six-yard catch, for the first multi-touchdown game by a Crusader this season. He totaled 37 yards on four receptions in the game, and now leads the team with three touchdown receptions this fall. 

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 with a Family Weekend contest against Lafayette. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Fitton Field, and tickets can be purchased by visiting goholycross.com/fbtix or by calling 1-844-GO-CROSS.
