HANOVER, N.H. - The Holy Cross field hockey team fell to Dartmouth, 4-0, Tuesday afternoon at Chase Field.
Holy Cross moves to 4-8, while Dartmouth improves to 3-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Dartmouth tallied a goal in each of the first two quarters to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
- The Big Green tacked on another two in the third quarter to extend the lead to 4-0.
BEYOND THE BOX:
- Sophomore Mia McCloskey recorded six saves in her 12th start of the season.
- Holy Cross held the edge in corners, 7-2.
UP NEXT:
- Holy Cross will return home and return to Patriot League play on Saturday, Oct. 18 when they welcome Lehigh to the Hart Turf Field.
- Game time is set for 11 a.m.
