The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this weekend for a 2 p.m. game at Loyola (Md.) at Saturday, Jan. 25. The contest between the Crusaders and the Greyhounds will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross owns an overall record of 10-10 on the year, with a 2-5 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders are coming off a 76-71 loss to Army on Wednesday night. Freshman guard
Max Green leads the team by averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Sophomore forward
Joe Nugent has added 12.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest, while senior forward
Caleb Kenney is chipping in with 11.2 points, 4.4 boards and 0.9 blocks per game.
Loyola stands 8-10 overall and 3-4 in the Patriot League. In their last game, the Greyhounds fell to Lafayette 80-59 on Wednesday. Senior forward Milos Ilic has led the team by averaging 13.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, while hitting 52.0 percent of his field goal attempts. Sophomore guard Jordan Stiemke has put up 12.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest, with sophomore guard Jacob Theodosiou adding 11.8 points and 3.7 boards per game.
After the contest at Loyola, Holy Cross will head to Boston University on Monday, Jan. 27, for a 7 p.m. game that will be nationally televised on the CBS Sports Network.
