The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its final home game of the regular season when it faces Colgate on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Raiders will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross stands 9-20 overall this year with a 6-10 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders are currently in a three-way tie for seventh place in the conference, and could still be seeded anywhere from sixth through 10th in the Patriot League Tournament. Senior guard
Joe Octave leads the team by averaging 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Junior forward
Caleb Kenney has posted 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, while senior guard
Bo Montgomery has added 10.8 points, 4.7 boards and 2.9 assists per contest.
Colgate has an overall mark of 20-9 on the season and has already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Tournament with a 14-2 mark in conference play. Sophomore guard Braeden Smith leads the team by averaging 12.2 points, 5.9 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. Senior forward Ryan Moffatt has averaged 11.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest, while senior center Keegan Records has added 10.8 points and 6.3 boards per game.
After the contest with Colgate, Holy Cross will conclude the regular season at Boston University on Saturday, March 2, at 12 p.m.
