The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this week, traveling to Colgate for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, Feb. 14. The contest between the Crusaders and the Raiders will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross stands 8-17 overall this year with a 5-7 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders have won three of their last four games, including a 58-56 victory over American on Saturday. Senior guard
Joe Octave leads the team by averaging 14.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Junior forward
Caleb Kenney has posted 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game, while senior guard
Bo Montgomery has added 9.9 points, 4.1 boards and 2.9 assists per contest, and sophomore guard
Will Batchelder has put up 8.5 points and 1.4 assists per game.
Colgate has an overall mark of 17-8 on the season and stands in first place in the Patriot League with an 11-1 record in conference games. The Raiders have won nine straight game, including a 76-62 victory over Loyola (Md.) on Saturday. Sophomore guard Braeden Smith leads the team by averaging 12.9 points, 5.9 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game, while hitting 77.9 percent of his free throws. Senior forward Ryan Moffatt has averaged 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest, while senior center Keegan Records has added 10.2 points and 6.5 boards per game.
After the contest at Colgate, Holy Cross will return home to face Army on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m.
