WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team opened its season at the Snake Regatta Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.
 
RESULTS:

• The collegiate 4+ finished second in the 18-boat field, finishing with a time of 18:02.221.
• Holy Cross entered three boats into the Collegiate 8+, placing fourth, ninth, and 18^th in the 26-boat field.

 
FROM HEAD COACH ANDREA LANDRY:

• "Good day of racing! Coach Tony put together a 4+ that executed a very mature race, ultimately placing 2nd in a field of 18 behind MIT's 4+ crew. The 4+ and all three 8+s stuck to their respective plans in staying on the offensive in their rhythm and rate. We look forward to enhancing our efficiency and press as we go up in rate this fall." 
   

WHAT'S NEXT:

• Holy Cross will travel to Boston, Mass. on Saturday, Oct. 19 for the Head of the Charles.
