WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team hosted Rhode Island, Delaware, Boston University, and the Boston University Lightweight team at Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday.

Andrea Landry. "That mindset is will be critical as we head into our toughest races yet. With the last week of classes coming up, we need to be smart with recovery and time management. If we focus on the right things in the boat every day, we'll be ready to perform on May 3 and May 15. We encourage all to join us mid day May 3 to acknowledge our senior class at Regatta Point during Eastern Sprints, and share end of year awards and accolades. Lots to be proud of! Go Cross Go!"
The varsity eight+ finished third in both of their races, recording times of 7:11.5 and 7:10.3, respectively.
The second varsity eight+ finished third in both of their races, defeating the Boston University 4V and lightweight 3V in the first race with a time of 7:06.6, just 0:00.1 behind second-place Delaware. In the second race, the 2V8 defeated the Boston University 4v and the Holy Cross 3V with a time of 7:09.3. The third varsity eight+ recorded a time of 8:07.9.
The varsity four+ recorded a time of 7:59.8 in their first race, finishing third, and a time of 7:53.3 in the second race, finishing seven seconds ahead of Delaware to place second.
The second varsity four placed fifth in thier race with a time of 8:29.4.
Holy Cross will return to action on Sunday, May 3 for Eastern Sprints at Lake Quinsigamond.
