Biography

2024-2025 (Sophomore):
  • Competed in three fall races.
    • Finished ninth in the Collegiate 8+ with the 2nd Varsity 8+ at the Head of the Snake (10/5).
    • Finished third in the Collegiate 4+ with the 2nd Varsity 4+ at the Wormtown Chase (10/26).
    • Competed in the Collegiate 8+ with the 3rd Varsity 8+ at the Heart of the Housatonic (11/2).
2023-2024 (Freshman):
  • Competed in four fall races.
    • Won the Open Novice 8+ at the Head of the Riverfront (Oct. 1).
    • Helped the 3V 8+ to a 14th place finish at the SHU invite (Oct. 14).
    • Finished eighth with the Collegiate 8+ 'C' at the Wormtown Chase (Oct. 29).
    • Finished second in the 2v4+ B final at the NYRA Fall Invitational (Nov. 6).
  • Competed in four spring races.
    • Finished third with the 3v8+ at Tufts (April 6).
    • Finished third against Colgate and Smith (April 13).
    • Raced to a fourth-place finish with the varsity four+ at the Holy Cross Invitational (April 20).
    • Finished third at the New England Rowing Championship (May 4).

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
  • Rowed for five years on varsity at Avon under head coach John Kostal.
  • Served as a team captain in both the fall and spring seasons as a senior.
  • Helped the varsity four to a silver medal at the 2022 and 2023 Connecticut State Championship.
  • Won the Fall 2021 Fastest 5k award and the Spring 2022 Fastest 2k award.
  • Stroked the girls varsity four at the 2022 Head of the Charles regatta.
  • Was a member of the varsity swim team for one season, helping the team to a 2019 Central Connecticut Conference Championship.
  • Also rowed for the Litchfield Hills Rowing Club under head coach Drew Combs.
  • Competed in the 2021 Summer Club Nationals.
  • Was a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL:
  • Daughter of Sharon and Steve Harris.
  • Has three siblings, Mackenzie, Connor, and Samantha.
  • Brother, Connor, played baseball at George Washington University.
  • Plans to major in Health Studies or Psychology.
  • Aspires to be a dietitian or counselor in the future.
