WORCESTER, Mass. – The women's rowing varsity four has been named Patriot League Boat of the Week, the league offices announced Wednesday afternoon.

Lauren MacDonald and
Marianna May, freshman
Ella Lynch-Bartek, and sophomore coxswain
Larissa McHugh finished first at the New England Rowing Championship on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. on Saturday.
Facing Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Mass. Maritime in their qualifying heat, the varsity four finished in first with a time of 7:44.490, almost two seconds ahead of second-place Rhode Island to earn a spot in the afternoon grand final. In the final, the varsity four finished with a time of 7:32.470, over three seconds ahead of second-place Merrimack, and over five seconds ahead of third-place MIT.
Women's rowing will be back in action on Friday, May 12, when it hosts the Patriot League Championship on Lake Quinsigamond.
