WORCESTER, Mass. — Senior
Declan O'Flynn picked up a victory in singles action, but Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Fordham 6-1 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 5-9 on the season, while the Rams improve to 6-10 overall.
Fordham began the day by winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. The Rams then took five of the six singles matches to claim the overall victory. O'Flynn picked up Holy Cross' lone win at No. 4 singles, where he defeated Giorgio Soemarno 6-0, 5-7, (10-6).
The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, April 8, when they play host to MIT at 3:30 p.m.
