CUMBERLAND, R.I. – The Holy Cross men's tennis team fell by a 4-1 score to Colgate on Friday, March 13 in the Patriot League conference opener at the Fore Court Racquet & Fitness Club in Cumberland, R.I.
The loss sends the Crusaders to 3-7, 0-1 PL while the Raiders improve to 5-5, 1-0 PL.
DOUBLES PLAY:
- Colgate took both doubles matches to capture the doubles point.
SINGLES ACTION:
- The Raiders were victorious at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 singles to complete the match win.
- Junior Matt Carlson picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles over Aidan Lee.
NEXT UP:
- The Crusaders are back in action on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. when they take on Florida State (9-9, 1-5 ACC) in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
