HARTFORD, Conn. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team traveled to Trinity (Conn.) and was victorious winning by a 5-2 score Tuesday afternoon at the Assaiante Tennis Center.

The victory was the second in a row for the Crusaders (3-6) while the Bantams fall to 1-2 on the young campaign. Junior Matt Carlson, junior Teddy Callery and freshman Colton Parker won both of their matches in doubles and singles play.

The win was the 50th at Holy Cross with the men's tennis program for head coach Brad Walulak.

DOUBLES PLAY:

• Holy Cross swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
• Sophomore Will Donnelly and freshman Luke Prokopis earned a 6-3 decision at No. 3 doubles.

SINGLES ACTION:

• The Crusaders earned wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 3 and No. 5 singles to take the match.
• Senior Camilo Illanes upended his opponent at No. 5, 6-0, 6-3.

NEXT UP:

• The open Patriot League play on Friday, March 13 at home against Colgate (4-5, 0-0 PL) at noon.
