Connor Nelson all won their singles matches, but the Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Colgate 4-3 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Faciltiy. The Crusaders fall to 3-5 on the season, while the Raiders improve to 2-11 overall.
At No. 2 singles, Nelson picked up a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Benito Vlassis. Kelleher added a 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 win over Ben Graham at No. 4, while Ling downed Aidan Lee 7-5, 5-7, (10-6) at No. 5. But Colgate won the three remaining singles matches and also took the doubles point to earn the overall match victory.
Holy Cross will return to action on Wednesday, March 22, when it travels to Clark for a 4:00 p.m. match.
