The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this weekend for a game at Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Raiders will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+. 

Holy Cross currently has a mark of 7-8 in the Patriot League and an overall record of 10-18. The Crusaders have won their last two contests, with victories over American (74-66) and Boston University (71-69). With three games left in the regular season, Holy Cross is tied for fifth place in the conference, just two games out of second place. The Crusaders lead the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage defense (31.7 percent), while standing third in three-point field goal percentage (37.2 percent) and fourth in blocked shots (2.8 blocks per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 16.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocked shots per game, in addition to hitting 47.9 percent of his field goal attempts. Freshman guard Will Batchelder has added 12.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest, while junior guard Joe Octave is putting up 11.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

Colgate currently stands 20-8 overall and 14-1 in the Patriot League. The Raiders have won three straight games and have already wrapped up the conference regular season title. Senior guard Tucker Richardson has led the team by averaging 14.0 points, 5.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Senior center Keegan Records (12.1 points per game), senior guard Oliver Lynch-Daniels (12.0 points per game), freshman guard Braeden Smith (11.8 points per game) and senior forward Ryan Moffatt (10.0 points per game) are also scoring in double figures.

Following the contest with Colgate, the Crusaders will travel to Loyola (Md.) for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
