The Holy Cross men's basketball team will take part in the Rock Hill Classic from Nov. 17-19 at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, S.C. The Crusaders will open up play against Winthrop on Friday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m. Holy Cross will then face Elon on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m., before wrapping up the event against IUPUI on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 12 p.m.

Holy Cross stands 1-2 so far this year, including a 68-67 victory at Georgetown on Nov. 11. Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 19.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, while hitting 62.2 percent of his field goal attempts. Senior guard Bo Montgomery has added 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest, while junior forward Caleb Kenney and freshman forward Joe Nugent are both chipping in with 10.3 points and 4.7 boards per game.

Winthrop enters the weekend with an overall record of 1-2 on the year. The Eagles are led by senior guard Kasen Harrison (14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds per game).

Elon currently stands 1-2 on the season. Sophomore guard Max Mackinnon (16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists per contest) has led the Phoenix.

IUPUI has an overall mark of 2-1 this year. The Jaguars are led by junior guard Jlynn Counter (15.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists per game).

Following the Rock Hill Classic, Holy Cross will head to St. John's for a 7 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 25.
